About the Role:

Reporting to the Director of Global Benefits, the Benefits Specialist is responsible for assisting with the administration and communication of U.S. and international benefit plans. You will serve as the day-to-day administrator for our health, welfare and financial benefits including health plans, life & accident insurance, wellness programs, leave of absence & disability programs and 401k. and pension plans. Your commitment to follow through and focus on details together with passion for process enhancement & continuous improvement will be essential for success in this role.

Hybrid role, in office 2-3 days per week. #LI-Hybrid

You Will:

  • Process new hire benefits enrollments and life events.
  • Manage COBRA subsidies.
  • Manage Washington LTC exemptions and life insurance evidence of insurability.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly audits.
  • Be the contact for employee benefits questions.
  • Enter leave of absence and other workday transactions.
  • Monitor weekly reports and process enrollments and terminations with the brokers.
  • Process travel, learning and other reimbursements.
  • Process all weekly and monthly invoices.
  • Support Open Enrollment and other team projects.

You Have:

  • You value providing outstanding internal customer support.
  • Proficiency in Google Apps (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Slides) and MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • The ability to analyize data and situations, determining next action steps.
  • A focus on details and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • The ability to handle multiple priorities and commitment to deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and the desire to collaborate with your teammates.
  • Strong English language skills.
  • Ability to travel overseas (20%)
