Aegis Ventures is seeking a Director, Corporate Development to join our next-generation startup studio. This role is critical to our growth, requiring a strategic leader to execute transactions and support portfolio strategy, business planning, capital formation, joint venture development, and transaction execution. The Director will collaborate with leaders across the studio and portfolio companies, thriving in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

What You’ll Do

• Form Investment Theses: Lead research efforts to build a pipeline for new companies.
• Identify and Execute M&A Opportunities: Evaluate and execute opportunities across the Aegis portfolio.
• Support Capital Sourcing Efforts: Assist in structural fundraising efforts.
• Execute Complex Transactions: Manage deal processes with health system partners.
• Translate Strategies into Companies: Work with experienced operators to create high-growth early-stage companies.
• Prepare Portfolio Companies for Fundraising: Provide hands-on support in sourcing investments.

What You Bring to the Role

• Experience: 4-8 years in investment banking, private equity, or related fields.
• Healthcare Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of trends, regulatory dynamics, and market opportunities.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: Proven track record of identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to collaborate with a cross-functional team.
• Decision-Making: Balance competing priorities and opinions effectively.
• Strategic and Detail-Oriented: Maintain a long-term view while overseeing day-to-day tasks.

Salary Range

$175,000 - $250,000 base salary, depending on previous experience and alignment with role expectations.
