As a Software Certification Solutions Engineer, you will diagnose and solve issues related to Red Hat Software Certification programs, ensuring the successful certification of partner workloads, including traditional, containerized, and OpenShift-based applications, as well as virtualization platforms. Your responsibilities include validating, reviewing, troubleshooting, enhancing, and debugging for container certification, Operator bundle certification, specialized certifications like CSI, CNI, and CNF, and Openshift/Openstack certification.
Additionally, you’ll collaborate with key decision-makers at various partner organizations, managing escalations and providing clear communication to leadership. Beyond technical tasks, you’ll contribute to strategic planning for partner programs and certification processes across OpenShift and virtualization.
What you will do:
Review, troubleshoot, and enhance scalable software systems.
Manage and resolve high-priority technical issues.
Engage with partners, building strong relationships and providing strategic insights.
Contribute to strategic initiatives such as OpenShift Provider Compatibility Tool (OPCT), OCP-V, and RHEL AI Vendor Validation.
Improve Red Hat’s partner certification experience and ensure our partners deliver a great experience to our mutual end customers through effective processes and tools.
What you will bring:
Previous experience or equivalent education as an Engineer.
Expertise with tools like GitLab, Konflux/Jenkins/Tekton, Jira, and Grafana.
Proficiency in Linux, Kubernetes, Python, and SRE principles.
Knowledge of Red Hat products and certifications is a strong advantage.
The following is considered a plus: Openshift/Golang experience, experience with virtualization tools and technologies.
