The ZO Clubhouse will hold events and programming, offer a comprehensive food and beverage program, provide health and wellness classes, and host private events.

Summary of Position
As a ZO Ambassador and Hospitality Assistant for the Amenities at The Spiral, you’ll be responsible for establishing a warm, hospitable and inviting environment for customers visiting the space by performing hosting duties for the lounge area and onsite restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
ZO Clubhouse
Oversee daily restaurant reservations through Open Table & maintain a seating chart and table turnover
Escorting customers to their table & provide menus and/or offer water if needed
Respond to any inquiries or concerns via email or phone in a timely & efficient manner
Assists ZO ambassadors & restaurant staff as needed in dining flow, programmed & private events
Provide a proactive, warm service that goes above and beyond to keep our customers happy
Staffing the front reception and receiving guests to the space throughout the day, including providing warm, attentive greeting, ensuring requests are accommodated and coordinating with onsite restaurant group for a seamless experience
Ensuring the full amenity space is orderly and clean and enter work orders as necessary
Interacting with guests in the space
Communicating and resolving any member service issues, with oversight by the Amenity General Manager
Communicating events to tenants, and checking tenants in/out of programming held at Clubhouse
Assisting Amenity General Manager and Ambassadors with ensuring event and service content on the ZO app for the property is up to date
Assist with special projects, tasks, or side duties assigned by GM, AM, or Ambassadors
Private Events
Support event execution for full space buyouts as requested including warm welcome and troubleshooting
Develop complete understanding of expectations for each private event
Assist GM and Events Manager is setting up/breaking down by communicating with cleaning team
Assist ZO ambassadors when needed to ensure full execution of the event as per client requests
Address guest feedback promptly and loop in the Events Manager when needed

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience in hospitality, food service, barista/bartender, or space operations a plus
Due to the nature of the role this position requires onsite presence Monday through Friday from 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm EST, hours are subject to change based on events
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular and continuing basis
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length
Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks

The base compensation range for this role is $22.00 to $25.00 per hour. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, as well as access to our comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) plan (with matching contributions), wellness benefits and all other benefits afforded to full-time Tishman Speyer employees.
This base range reflects a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skill sets, and/or licensure required of an individual in this particular role. The base range is also specific to members of Tishman Speyer’s New York team, as we’ve considered factors specific to this geography.
