What you’ll do in this role:

  • Assist in coordinating infusion services with appropriate Pharmacy departments. i.e., intake patient care coordinators, insurance, etc.
  • Assist in delivery of quality care to clients receiving infusion therapy
  • Monitor communication from pharmacy to assist Clinical Nurse Supervisor.
  • Review an approve submitted forms by Infusion Nurses as needed.
  • Ensure all required documentation for nursing visit and patient diagnosis is completed in its entirety by Infusion Nurse.
  • Pursues and request more-specific documentation from Infusion Nurse as needed.
  • Collaborates with Clinical Nurse Supervisor and Infusion Nurses to ensure all nursing notes are turned in for timely billing purposes.
  • Monitors Patient’s infusion schedule for timely fill processing by ensuring schedule is accurate and up to date and communicate changes to the Pharmacy fill and ship team.
  • Reviews and revises calendar and schedules for patient’s therapy as necessary.
  • Be accessible for Infusion Nurse staff consultation and problem-solving.
  • Maintain professional commitment, credibility, and clinical expertise in concepts of infusion nursing.
  • Provide backup infusion coverage for nursing staff.
  • Informs the ADON and Clinical Nurse Supervisor of nursing activities, needs, problems, and unusual events.
  • Comply with all company policies, instructions, and directives for the fulfillment of company objectives.
  • Complete and submit all required reports in a timely manner.
  • Maintain current files and other records in accordance with the company instructions and requirements.
  • Consistently represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Maintain effective working relationship and cooperate with all personnel in the company.

We are looking for a compassionate Regional Team Lead with:

  • Excellent Organization skills and attention to details
  • Must possess the ability to multi-task and frequently change direction.
  • Registered Nurse license required
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in nursing
