The Real Estate Portfolio Coordinator will be a member of the Facilities. Maintenance & Security Operations (FMSO) team. FMSO is an integrated organization of facility development, facility operations, and security professionals dedicated to providing Blue Origin with the critical infrastructure necessary to develop and deploy world class space systems. This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams and locations.

 

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Real Estate Portfolio Coordinator to provide comprehensive support in the management and administration of our real estate portfolio. As a vital member of our real estate team, the successful candidate will assist the Real Estate Planning and Program Manager in executing necessary tasks and contributing to the efficient acquisition and management of our real estate assets. The role involves undertaking a variety of administrative, operational, and analytical responsibilities, ensuring the integrity and effective use of our real estate portfolio. You will be responsible for conducting property research, managing property documentation, coordinating lease agreements, conducting property inspections, and compiling reports and property data. Additionally, you will support the Real Estate Planning and Program Manager in liaising with property owners, real estate agents, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless property acquisition and deployment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support the Real Estate Planning and Program Manager in conducting market research and analysis to identify potential real estate assets
  • Assist in managing property documentation, contract abstracting, lease agreements, and property title records
  • Review and verify real estate contract critical dates, and maintain critical date reporting
  • Participate in the development of various policies and procedures of portfolio administration
  • Track operating expenses and real estate tax reconciliations, and security deposits and report accordingly
  • Coordinate property inspections, evaluations, and maintenance activities
  • Conduct property data analysis and compile analytical reports to support decision-making
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date property and tenant databases
  •  Liaise with internal stakeholders to address property management-related queries and requests
  • Maintain lease rent schedule and liaise with Accounts Payable to confirm monthly rent and additional rent values
  • Support the tracking of property financial performance, rental payments, and expenses
  • Assist in conducting property due diligence and supporting property acquisition activities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commercial Real Estate, Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in MS Office and real estate management software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with commercial real estate laws, regulations, and principles a plus
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Commercial/corporate real estate experience a must
  •  2 - 3 years of experience in commercia/corporate real estate, commercial property management, or commercial real estate administration 
  •  Understanding of property financial analysis, accounting, and reporting
