The Opportunity  

This position works out of our Wiesbaden location in the Abbott Diabetes Care - Abbott GmbH. We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology. 

Your Tasks:

• Coordinate business planning cycles’ consolidation for EMEAP, LATAM and APAC
• Prepare IBP/LBE Deck and other deliverables for International markets
• Prepare and follow up IBP minutes for International Markets and support countries/regions on their commercial priority requests
• Be the point of contact for Global, regions and affiliates on business planning cycles’ deliverables, establish alignment and collaboration between EMEAP, LATAM and APAC
• Follow up and support commercial priorities/requests with relevant stakeholders between Global, regions and affiliates
• Provide appropriate strategic recommendations that improves effectiveness of our core business planning processes and create synergies in between regions
• Establish strong communication within Area, Global and Affiliates to drive best practices on core business planning processes
• Understand major strategies for the Area and Affiliates, serve as a link between International Markets, Global and Affiliates
• Collaborate with Finance, commercial and other relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration with the financial forecasting processes
• Proactively identify, develop and lead rollout of new tools, systems and processes to simplify and improve commercial effectiveness and analytics

Your Qualification:

• Graduate university level education – preferably in business/scientific-related disciplines. Master’s degree is a plus
• Previous Integrated Business Planning/project management or consulting experience is a plus
• Min 5 years of previous experience, preferably within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
• Strong analytical skills: ability to analyze data from a wide range of internal and external sources and translate these into powerful insights
• Strong ability to build relationships and work in a team to establish trust and exercise influence with internal clients and other key stakeholders
• Can manage upstream and downstream with equal confidence through very good interpersonal communication skills
• Capability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment to deliver on communicated timelines and objectives
• Fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of a second language is desirable
