NGAS is currently looking for a Radio Frequency Engineering Technician 2/3  to work ion our San Diego, CA location.

Role description & Responsibilities:

  • Support Radar Cross Section (RCS) and Radio Frequency (RF) testing of test articles and antennas
  • Mount and dismount test articles on a test support pylon
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, repair and/or fabricate test equipment (production and prototype)
  • Assist in the verification, development and documentation of test procedures and special applications by interpreting product specifications
  • Will work multiple shifts

Basic Qualifications: Radio Frequency Engineering Technician 3

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent and 4 years of experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry or related military service
  • Will be expected to work in man lift at height of 65 feet
  • Current and Active DoD Secret Clearance (or higher)
  • Ability to use standard tools and shop equipment.
  • Basic computer skills and Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, Access and Outlook)

Basic Qualifications: Radio Frequency Engineering Technician 4

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent and 6 years of experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry or related military service
  • Will be expected to work in man lift at height of 65 feet
  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED
  • Current and Active DoD Secret Clearance (or higher)
  • Ability to use standard tools and shop equipment.
  • Basic computer skills and Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, Access and Outlook)

Preferred Skills/Education:

  • Crane operations, rigging and lifting, forklift operation, cable handling, model weight and balance checks
  • Network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power supplies and power meters
  • Specialized Antenna/RCS data processing software (KNOWBELL, Pioneer, Spectrum 959)

Salary Range: $62,900.00 - $104,900.00Salary Range 2: $74,900.00 - $124,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
