Job Description:
Marken, UPS Healthcare Precision Logistics (formerly Marken, MNX & Polar Speed), the clinical and advanced therapy subsidiary of UPS Healthcare, unites expertise across healthcare and complex secure logistics to drive the success of our clients through innovation.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Costing Manager, this person will be responsible for successfully:
1. Ensure that there is accurate recording of costs in the appropriate ledger codes and branches
Checking data of incoming supplier invoices, processing them by due date
Processing contingent backlog at earliest convenience
Using Standard Rate Cards to compare the received charges to the approved ones
To allocate costs for the appropriate delivery in own system
Coding not delivery related costs to prepare accounting
2. Liaising with suppliers in securing credit notes for overcharges
Recognizing of differences and requesting credit note, if applicable
Validate extra costs within the company in English
3. Ad-hoc projects due to a managerial assignment
Completing back-administrative tasks
Contact with different departments (logistics, customer service, accounts payable, billing, IT)
Subservience of computer system automation
Doing performance report monthly
Requirements:
Intermediate Excel skills and practice of using MS Office
Highly organized and professional with excellent communication skills
Confidence to recommend alternate ways of data preparation
Analytical mind – evidenced by experience or qualification
Must have a desire to learn, work independently and in team, and possess strong problem-solving skill
Fluent spoken and written communication skills in English
