As a leader in RDQ, you are a senior technical resource and internal expert in areas of critical importance to organization who regularly interacts with senior management. How you will contribute
You will be the point of contact for multiple internal and external locations on quality related topics, ensuring products meet design, food safety and quality policy requirements. In this role, you will support R&D to design products, specifications and capabilities to bring consumer-inspired quality to life. To excel in this role, you will drive implementation of regional and global strategies; identify, report, monitor and direct corrective and preventive actions associated with quality KPIs, and partner with cross-functional internal and external business partners (R&D, regulatory, marketing and manufacturing) to meet our quality agenda. In addition, you will lead regional quality programs; share best practices among manufacturing sites through quality benchmarking; manage special situations and early warnings with respect to plant investigations, root-cause analysis and follow-up to protect Mondelēz International and our consumers, and; be an ambassador, driving quality and sharing expertise with colleagues to ensure that quality improvement becomes an instinctive culture across the business.

This position will provide service to the North America Halls business. This position will interface with the BU cross functional teams (Marketing, R&D, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, CS&L, etc.) and the Plant Quality Teams.
Working as part of a cross functional team, you will lead Quality activities to enable successful execution of the business objectives to maintain and grow our brands with an emphasis on delivering the desired consumer experience.
Success in this role will require collaboration, communication, strong technical skills, demonstrated influencing skills, and an understanding of the consumers, applicable regulations, and the business. You will be accountable for communicating with key stakeholders and influencing decisions based on conclusions derived from the analysis and interpretation of results.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Quality representative on Category Commercialization Teams, ensuring all Category projects meet design, food safety and quality policy requirements as defined by the I2M commercialization process. Identify and apply consistent best practices and ways of working; lead and drive a culture of quality improvement, consumer focus, learning and value across the supply chain. Project types may include Line Extensions, Growth & Innovation, Productivity, Quality Improvement, and Well-Being, etc.
• Lead the development of an End-to-End Brand Quality Strategy including Roadmaps for delivery. Develop and leverage cross functional connections to deploy and track execution of the strategy.
• Advocate and drive accountability for End-to-End Consumer Inspired Quality (CIQ). Partner with R&D, Supply Chain, and the CDN & US business teams to ensure consumer validated design, success criteria, execution, and continuous improvement. Partner to ensure completion of appropriate training needs.
• Work to continually improve performance against key quality measures by proactively identifying opportunities and recommending solutions to protect and delight our consumers. This would be accomplished through trending and analysis of key performance indicators (e.g., consumer/customer contacts, sensory, CPM, RFT-Make).
• Responsible for the day-to-day Brand responsibilities assigned including reviewing communications from Field Sales and Customer issues and then take appropriate actions to resolve. Ensure appropriate actions taken for Network Hold and Disposition within the brand category.
• Drive improvements in Quality Compliance, Consumer Complaints, and Quality Culture by partnering with Plant Quality Teams in meeting business agenda and objectives.
• Support Plant quality teams during 3rd Party inspections and audits, as required. Conduct routine assessments, and audits to ensure compliance against Global Quality Policies, and applicable Regulations.
What extra ingredients you will bring:
• Skilled in understanding the appropriate OTC/DS/NHP regulations as applied to Halls products
• Knowledge of MDLZ QP’s, HACCP, CIQ, problem-solving and decision-making techniques
• Knowledge of Office programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote
Education / Certifications:
Minimum B.S. degree in Food Science, Engineering, Microbiology, Chemistry, or other related Sciences
Job specific requirements:
•Minimum 8 years related experience in Quality, Food Safety and/or R&D. Experience with OTC/DS/NHP regulations is desired.
Travel requirements:
Approximately 15% local travel may be required for key project needs
