What You'll Do
Leads the ARK Market Epic integration, aligning operational, application, and IT Teams for successful transition to Epic. Post ARK integration will lead cyclic optimization and quality improvement initiatives for Epic build.
Responsibilities:
Oversee ARK Market Epic project plan by coordinating scope, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables across applications, operational, and technical workstreams to support a successful market integration to our Epic build.
Partner with Epic Application Managers, operational leaders, and subject matter experts to align workflows, support standardization decisions, validate readiness activities, and ensure market-specific needs are addressed within the overall program plan at and post integration.
Serve as the optimization manager between operational leadership, IT, and the Epic Program Director by providing status updates, facilitating decision-making, managing risks and issues, supporting governance processes, and coordinating go-live, stabilization, optimization, and quality improvement activities during integration.
Post integration lead continuous optimization efforts during quarterly updates/enhancement opportunities ,enhancement & assuring workflows meet regulatory requirements.
Requirements
LPN, RN or applicable degree in healthcare, business, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Five years of experience in healthcare IT, clinical operations, project management, or program management.
Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, project plans, milestones, and readiness activities.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with executive, operational, and technical stakeholders.
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, information technology, or a related field.
Epic implementation experience in a multi-hospital, ambulatory, or market-based environment.
Epic certification, proficiency, or direct experience supporting Epic governance and application teams.
Project management certification such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, etc.
Experience supporting go-live, stabilization, and optimization activities.
Continual Education:
Will participate in all Epic mandated training &/or certification if applicable
Attend applicable Epic forums, user groups, and healthcare IT educational events to remain current on implementation strategies, enhancements, operational trends, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain required organizational training related to privacy, security, compliance, and patient information protection.
