This role plays a crucial role in gathering and analyzing data related to McKesson's installed base of Clinical Laboratory Analyzers. Developing insights and recommendations will be instrumental in maximizing renewal rates, retention rates, and utilization levels.  Compile and analyze both internal and partner data to gain insights into McKesson's installed base of Clinical Laboratory Analyzers. Develop models and utilize data visualization techniques to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders. Collaborate with the Lab Sales and Service teams to provide recommendations and innovative solutions based on data analysis. Work closely with business partners in lab, supplier partnerships, and finance to align strategies and drive business outcomes.  Stay current with industry trends and best practices in lab equipment business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leverage internal and partner data to fully understand the installed base of customer lab equipment. 40%

  • Analyze data to develop appropriate executive summaries and insights.
  • Collaborate with sales and service teams to improve accuracy of datasets. 
  • Audit as appropriate.

2. Develop tools to support sales teams in maximizing our renewal rates, retention rates, and levels of utilization. 40%

  • Collaborate with sales and service teams to develop simple reporting, including prompts for targeted action; integrate tools in existing platforms like PowerBI and Salesforce.com. 
  • Develop and provide training and support in the use of tools.

3. Develop reagent forecast guidance.  20%

  • Complete the necessary analysis to provide financial forecasts on reagent sales. 

4.Achieves Financial and Non-financial Objectives:

  • Execute plans to meet & exceed objectives.   

Minimum Job Qualifications:

Required Education/Training –

  • Degree or equivalent experience. MBA or other Master’s degree preferred.

Required Business Experience –

  • 7+ years of relevant experience.

Required Specialized Knowledge/Skills –

  • Proven experience in data analysis, modeling, and business intelligence, preferably in the lab equipment or healthcare industry.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such Microsoft Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with lab equipment and the clinical laboratory industry is a plus, but not required

Working Conditions:

  • Traditional office environment.
  • Large percent of time performing computer-based work is required.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$102,800 - $171,400
