Team Overview
The Data Operations Manager leads a team of Analysts and collaborates cross‑functionally to support customer requests and advance long‑term organizational objectives. In this role, you will influence the customer and furnisher experience while driving process management, optimization, and compliance through the implementation of scalable solutions. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.Role Overview and Core Responsibilities
Bachelor degree or years 7+ years of equivalent work experience
Experience making management decisions, driving teams and measuring results
Ability to foster collaborative relationships in cross-functional teams and work in matrix environment
Experience systematically analyzing problems or processes, drawing relevant conclusions, and devising appropriate courses of action
Ability to analyze complex data using logic and quantitative reasoning, an intuitive capacity for problem solving and ability to act decisively
Establish and maintain VOC feedback loop from customers, furnishers, processors and client engagement teams
Creation of training materials and talking points for new and modified processes
Required working knowledge of software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with exceptional presentation skills.

Experience in the credit reporting, financial services or direct marketing industry
Business process mapping and process data mining experience
Methodologies: Systems Development Lifecycle experience, Rapid Application Development, Case Tools
Understanding of Databases/File Structures: DB2, Oracle, MS Access, SQL
High level understanding of software development methods and Data Manipulation Tools, such as SAS, Ab Initio
Required Knowledge and Experiences
Lead and champion our operating model using new technology and applications while delivering high quality results
Build and drive internal continuous improvement culture through innovation, collaboration, and lean thinking while achieving organizational buy-in
Develop and create operations and workflow management processes and procedures while introducing metrics to measure success
Communicate data incidents to business leaders, legal, compliance, and customers/furnishers and introduce processes to mitigate future risk
Use problem solving skills, and knowledge of our applications and processes, to introduce resolutions that limit impact to customers/consumers
Create and formalize proactive strategies to advance data furnisher monitoring and improve our data quality
Support applications deployments, coordinate testing and validation strategies
Identify application deficiencies and/or process gaps; identify and implement solutions in order to meet department goals
Work with product managers and technical leads to determine scope and priorities for product development cycles
Work with QA and analyze data, and test results, to ensure integrity is maintained throughout program lifecycle and ensure market and business needs are satisfied
Interpret and adhere to standard legal, compliance, and business rules during program design and process development
Educate and influence internal partners on best-practice approaches gleaned from current and previous experiences
Improve TransUnion’s competitive position and help drive revenue through development of Data Furnisher monitoring techniques and data onboarding processes
Develop and implement processes & system enhancements to establish and maintain data quality standards
Review current operations and identify opportunities in tools, processes, and talent, to make recommendations towards increased quality and efficiency
Research, evaluate, and determine the right level of automation and implement automation options
Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships in all regions
