What You Will Do:


This position will play a critical role in leading project teams for our Public Health Advisory practice. Projects can span across organizational development and transformation, strategic planning and implementation, business process improvement, risk management, change management and strategic communications, as well as direct-mission support to federal health clients. Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Project initiation, through analysis
  • Solutions development, implementation, and closeout;
  • Providing guidance and support for project deliverables and quality assurance effort
  • Team leadership and development
  • Client management and development
  • Leading market analysis and strategic business planning including identification, qualification, and marketing aspects of complete capture efforts for public sector health organizations. This includes conducting research and prospecting to competitively position Guidehouse on key strategic opportunities for health clients.
  • Providing support to shaping and executing the company’s strategy for key public sector accounts.
  • Developing a qualified pipeline of opportunities that will yield profitable revenue in support of Guidehouse’s financial goals.
  • Representing Guidehouse at conferences and marketing events relevant to the Public Sector Heath team’s focus and goals.

What You Need:

  • Bachelors Degree from accredited university
  • 12+ years’ experience in state healthcare programs
  • Prior experience working at a medium to large consulting firm
  • 7 -10 years of professional experience in consulting, strategy, organizational transformation, process improvement, project/program management
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to develop strong team and client relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including presentation skills)
  • Creative problem-solving ability and a consultancy mindset
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong candidates will be forward-thinking and will have demonstrated they are capable and have been accountable in leading multiple client engagements simultaneously to timeline, scope and budget.
  • Experience in multi-workstream project management (managing timeline, scope and budget) inclusive of client expectations and risk mitigation

The annual salary range for this position is $219,500.00-$329,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
