What You Will Do:
Plan, communicate, train, and sell sucker rods within a defined region.
Maintain excellent customer relationships while striving to expand market share and achieve profit goals.
Maintain assigned customer accounts at their present locations.
Maintain relationships with major existing or potential customers.
Assist area manager with training customers on product use.
Assist area manager in preparing annual operating expense budget within defined region.
Inform area manager of new product opportunities.
Prepare sales objectives and expense control goals.
Assist sales director in preparation of yearly sales forecast.
Knows and enforces compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
Drives and contributes to the department’s continuous improvement culture.
Maintains confidentiality of all matters.
Other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Four year college or university degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or 5 years equivalent education and/or experience.
Valid driver's license in state of residence.
Immigration sponsorship not available for this role.
Two years outside sales experience in down hole oilfield equipment
Ability to travel up to 40% as required by sales/service calls

Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
Ability to learn quickly while adapting to ever changing customer needs

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Physical Demands:
Role is deemed safety sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
Employee is required to regularly walk in customer field locations which may include inclines, uneven surfaces, and a variety of weather conditions.
Employee is required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment including but not limited to shoes/boots, hard hats, or respirators.
Work Environment:
Some work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.
Work will include regular visits to customer office or field locations.
Work normally is executed in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer.
Work will require visits to customer field locations in a variety of weather and temperature conditions.
