Overview

As the Manager of Global Facilities Operations Systems, you will lead a geographically dispersed team responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of facilities operation system/platform and solutions across Micron’s global network. This role combines strategic leadership, technical expertise, and operational excellence to drive continuous improvement, efficiency, and innovation in facilities operations and maintenance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor and develop staff, and deliver impactful solutions leveraging advanced analytics, AIoT technologies, and best-known methods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor the Global Facilities Operations Systems team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate with site facilities teams and cross-functional partners (SMAI, IT, engineering) to identify, define, and implement business processes and innovative solutions.
  • Lead efforts to standardize and deploy best-known methods (BKMs) and process improvements across the network.
  • Provide governance for business process alignment and master data configuration.
  • Monitor, measure, and report compliance with master data standards and business processes.
  • Oversee the deployment and optimization of I&C products and AIoT solutions to enhance factory operations.
  • Oversee the deployment of software platforms across the Micron Facilities Network
  • Design and deploy data analytic metrics to optimize facilities maintenance and operations.
  • Identify, develop, and support innovative solutions driving operational and labor efficiency.
  • Collaborate on modernization of workflow and application solutions, supporting the scaling and deployment of locally developed solutions.
  • Conduct organizational needs assessments and implement targeted interventions.
  • Plan and schedule program timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Operations and Maintenance or Engineering scope role, with at least 1 year in a leadership role in one of these areas.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of projects.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Capable of compiling executive-level reports and presentation materials.
  • Growth mindset and ability to challenge boundaries and encourage innovation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 years’ experience in Facilities Operations and Maintenance or Engineering
  • 2+ years in a leadership role
  • Experience with SAP PM/PS modules, SCADA platforms, FMCS platforms, and AIoT technologies
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages and analytics tools (e.g., Angular, Python, C/C++, Snowflake, Tableau, PowerBi, Microsoft O365).
  • PMP certification.

Additional Information

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (10–20%).
