The Operations Regulatory Reporting Team monitors exposure related to Regulatory Capital and Client Asset Protection, as well as performs regulatory reporting related to various FINRA, FRB NY, and OFR regulations. The VP role is responsible to supervise various operational activities that could have adverse impact Net Capital Requirement (rule 15c3-1) and Customer Protection (rule 15c3-3), as well as Regulatory filings, namely: Short Interest Reporting, Portfolio Margining, FR2004, and OFR – NCCBR reporting. This is a highly visible role which will allow the employee to be part of a team that works closely with Senior Management of Citigroup and senior managers across Operations, Finance, Compliance, Risk, and the Business.
Responsibilities:
Ensure capital and customer reserve exposure calculations are accurate and taking action to reduce open issues related to operational and financing categories of the weekly customer reserve (SEA Rule 15c3-3) and capital charges (SEA Rule 15c3-1). Potential areas of concerns are Aged Fails, Stock Record & Depository breaks, Suspense, Repo/Reverse Repo and Stock Borrow/Loan Deficits, etc.
