(NYSE: MEI) is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to play a key role in driving financial insights, supporting strategic decision-making, and contributing to the overall financial success of our company. You will also lead complex financial analyses, provide strategic recommendations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead advanced financial analyses to identify trends, evaluate performance, and support strategic initiatives.

  • Develop and present detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.

  • Drive the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

  • Perform in-depth variance analyses to identify key drivers and recommend actionable solutions.

  • Evaluate and provide financial insights on investment opportunities, including cost-benefit and ROI analyses.

  • Design and maintain advanced financial models to support decision-making processes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial strategies with organizational objectives.

  • Monitor and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs), delivering actionable insights to senior leadership.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

  • Prepare and deliver high-quality financial presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Partner with IT to build and optimize analytic financial dashboards for improved decision-making and reporting.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and emerging financial technologies to inform strategic recommendations.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA/CFA is a plus.

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, with a track record of delivering impactful insights.

  • Expert proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and data visualization tools.

  • Exceptional analytical skills with a strong attention to detail and a strategic mindset.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., Power Query, Power Pivot), financial software (e.g., OneStream, HFM), and BI tools (e.g., Zoho Analytics, Tableau, Power BI). Basic knowledge of SQL is a plus.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and collaboration tools such as MS Teams.

  • A proactive and self-driven attitude with a passion for continuous learning and professional growth.

  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
