We are seeking a Makeup Artist Account Coordinator who is a proven seller, looking to drive sales, grow business ranking, and develop strong store and client relationships. Must have the ability to motivate, train and influence salespeople to sell Hourglass Cosmetics through sharing knowledge by educating and coaching about: the product, the brand and application. When in-store: sell side-by-side with the team and lead by example when: demonstrating product, building a sale, maintaining cleanliness standards, respecting store standards, following policies and procedures and applying make-up. This includes planning and executing successful events, selling product, building the sale through make-up application. Build and maintain store relationships through consistent communication with Leadership and Store Selling Teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management
- Drive sales by achieving or exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly targets at assigned store location.
- Identify business opportunities and maximize productivity.
- Propose and Implement sales strategies, including clienteling, and visual merchandising, to boost brand performance.
- Present and sell merchandise in a professional manner through professional makeup services, including consultations and applications.
- Foster long-term customer relationships through personalized consultations and exceptional service. Deliver “Best in Class” service to consumers, team members and retail partners.
Store Operation
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock concerns or opportunities to Retail Manager & Sephora SMTs to ensure stock levels are balanced.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area inventory processes and procedures.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are sanitized and in good working condition.
- Act as a brand ambassador and liaison between the brand and Sephora store staff. Build strong relationships with customers and retailer’s teams to ensure continued support and alignment with brand goals.
- Respect retailer/store procedures, guidelines and brand confidentiality.
Visual Merchandising
- Support merchandising efforts, ensuring testers, displays, and gondolas are clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing.
- Ensure stores follow global merchandising guidelines, update visual displays, grids, testers and stocks arrangement.
- Take photos and submit outlet visit and competitor reports on time.
Driving Customer Experience
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service to ensure a positive and memorable shopping experience
- Foster long-term customer relationships through personalized consultations and exceptional service to encourage repeat business.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and effectively. Uphold the brand image and maintain a positive attitude.
- Assist customers in selecting products that best suit their needs and preferences, educate customers on product usage and application methods.
- Participate and support in product launches and brand events and marketing initiatives
Artistry & Education
- Deliver exceptional makeup applications and demonstrations that reflect the brand’s artistry standards.
- Facilitate during Sephora daily briefing to introduce, educate and inspire on new product launches, reinforce core products and company history creating excitement and developing retail partnerships, motivate and inspire team selling in all Sephora Doors
- Stay up to date with product launches, trends, and techniques to ensure relevant and engaging education sessions.
Store Visit (Once a week)
- Partner with store management and staff to identify business opportunities and maximize productivity during visits.
- Work Closely with Retail Manager to review and analyze daily & weekly sales grid achievement by door to plan best store visits
- Plan and manage time effectively when scheduling store visits to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in driving revenue.
- Understand business in order to partner and plan store visits which best impact the business Plan in-store coverage during key store hours.

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of Retail Management or Counter Manager experience in Beauty industry
- Experience working within SEPHORA
Excellent makeup artistry skills
- Effective goal setting, planning, communication, relationship-building and strong problem solving skills
- Self-reliant with the ability to make solid business decisions
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Exhibit effective communication skills with customers, peers and management
- Knowledgeable in working with Outlook, MS Word and Excel
- Ability to travel and work weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods during store operating hours.
