This dynamic role combines the responsibilities of a Leasing Agent and a Maintenance Technician, serving as a primary contact for residents and potential residents by leasing apartments, providing superior customer service, and performing essential maintenance tasks to ensure the community's overall appearance and quality. You will play a crucial part in both establishing and maintaining resident relationships while ensuring their living spaces are well-maintained and functional.

What You’ll Do:

  • Leasing Duties:

    • Connect with prospective and current residents in a friendly and professional manner.

    • Manage the leasing process, from application to move-in.

    • Schedule and conduct tours of available units.

    • Build and maintain resident relationships through superior customer service.

  • Maintenance Duties:

    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartment units and common areas.

    • Respond to resident service requests within 3 hours.

    • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting issues.

    • Maintain grounds and recreational facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for residents.

Requirements:

  • Previous Sales or Customer Service experience is preferred.

  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on general maintenance experience is preferred.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and participate in on-call rotation.

  • Strong understanding of Fair Housing Laws and general property management principles.

  • Ability to operate various hand tools and power equipment used in community maintenance.

  • Ability to build rapport with prospects and residents, actively listen, and identify their needs.

  • Provide superior service and maintain reliability and promptness.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Technical proficiency in maintenance tasks and the ability to use various hand and power tools.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on detail and organization.
