Position Summary...
The Lead Counsel, Regulatory & Specialty Legal (Corporate Affairs) will provide strategic legal guidance aligned with the company’s global business objectives, supporting operational and financial performance. This person in this role involves advising on legal rights, obligations, and risks to enable informed decision-making, overseeing legal compliance, and managing complex business transactions. The Lead Counsel, Regulatory & Specialty Legal (Corporate Affairs) will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, direct outside counsel, and represent the company before regulatory and judicial bodies. Additionally, this person will develop risk mitigation strategies, review legislative trends, and contribute to business planning and policy development to support sustainable growth and operational excellence.

The Regulatory & Specialty Legal team provides expert guidance on regulatory risk and supports critical business initiatives. Collaborating with internal partners, the team ensures compliance with applicable laws and corporate governance standards. Members contribute to risk management, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional leadership, enabling informed decision-making and strategic business support. The team fosters a professional environment centered on integrity, continuous improvement, and effective communication, driving successful outcomes aligned with company objectives. This collaborative group plays a key role in maintaining legal strategy and supporting the company’s operational goals.
What you'll do...
- Corporate Reputation Risk & Issues Management—identify, assess, and manage reputational and legal risks and partner with clients to advise on and develop mitigation strategies.
- Crisis Communications & Rapid Response—provide real-time legal guidance during crises and high-scrutiny moments, including review of statements, Q&A, talking points, internal messaging, and external communications.
- Media Relations, Press Releases, Executive Communications & Events—advise on media relations strategy and risk, including approaches to engagement, messaging, and spokesperson considerations; review and provide counsel on press releases, executive statements, speeches, remarks, corporate events, announcements, and social media content—balancing legal risk, reputational considerations, and clarity.

The annual salary range for this position is $160,000.00 - $320,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
