About the Role

Caterpillar's Asia Pacific Distribution Division (APD) team is seeking a talented Customer Value Agreement / Condition Monitoring Operations Consultant in Singapore.  Your primary role is facilitate cross matrix collaboration to progress Condition Monitoring (CM) enabled solutions and Customer Value Agreements (CVA) execution effectiveness, collaborate with internal business units to establish order of priority for Dealer engagement, lead development of corrective actions and support internal industry teams & districts with execution across Asia Pacific.

What You Will Do

APD Process Owner for Customer Value Agreement

• Guide Caterpillar field representatives to conduct assessment on dealers’ end-to-end Customer Value Agreements (CVA) process to identify and close dealer’s execution gaps.
• Guide Caterpillar field representatives to conduct dealer CVA Capacity & Capability analysis to identify and close capacity resources and capability required by dealers to deliver targets agreed in Services Growth Plans (SGP)
• Primary contact for Caterpillar field representatives as subject matter expertise on CVA operations

APD Process Owner for Condition Monitoring

• Lead execution & deployment for Equipment Condition Monitoring (CM) Enabled Solutions Project (CM Capacity & Capability)
• Representing APD voice in global meetings on CM Dealer Readiness Tool Development, and validating with Dealers in field Capacity Projection Tool
• Guide Caterpillar field representatives to conduct assessment on all APD Priority dealers’ CM operations so as to identify and close dealer’s execution gaps, using CM Guidebook and CM Readiness Tool/assessment

Collaboration & Alignment

• Strategic Alignment: Facilitate cross matrix collaboration in order to progress CM Enabled Solutions and CVA execution effectiveness. 
• Prioritization: Collaborate with internal business units to establish order of priority for Dealer engagement
• Execution: Lead development of corrective actions and support internal industry teams & Districts with execution
• Governance: Represent APD on regular collaboration & performance meetings with business partners. 

What You Have

• Influence: Ability to leverage specialists in various aspects of CVA delivery (SFM, lead generation, digital, service operations)
• Collaboration: Superior collaborative interpersonal skills to deal with sensitive issues and persuade dealership partners and Caterpillar to take specific actions and/or change methods
• Project Management: Experience with detailed dealer assessments and prioritized projects for dealer gap closure
• Business Acumen: Established dealer network/relationships and operational credibility based on past interactions; Strong commercial & operations principles

Additional Information

Education: Bachelor’s degree required; in lieu of a degree 10 years of Caterpillar or Dealer experience will be accepted

Experiences: Five to ten years of Caterpillar Dealer facing experience or CAT dealer customer facing experience.  Experience with company products, product applications, service operations, systems and equipment management methodologies

• This position will require up to 30% Travel
• This position is based in Singapore. Relocation is not available
