Your Key Responsibilities

As a, Afterhours Registered Nurse, you will:

  • Assess the physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs of patients in home health settings.
  • Conduct initial and follow-up evaluations of patients’ nursing requirements.
  • Communicate significant changes, findings, or unsafe conditions to supervisors, physicians, and care teams.
  • Provide guidance and implement safety plans using patient data, family input, and community resources.
  • Execute and review the Plan of Care, ensuring it aligns with physician’s orders and established standards.
  • Respond to deviations in patient condition and take appropriate actions.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in clinical records and reports.
  • Take on additional projects or duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

  • Completion of an accredited nursing program (Certificate, Diploma, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s in Nursing).
  • At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience (Home Health experience preferred but not required).
  • Valid Registered Nurse license in your state.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to travel approximately 50% of the time.
