Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with various teams to understand their needs, developing solutions that align with business objectives, and ensuring that applications are optimized for performance and usability. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, providing support and enhancements to existing applications while ensuring that all development aligns with best practices and organizational standards. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day production support and ensure SLA compliance for Oracle EBS HCM modules Act as the primary point of contact between HR business users and the IT support team. Manage and prioritize incident, service request, and change request queues. Perform functional analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause identification for HCM-related issues. Coordinate with Oracle Support for SR (Service Request) resolution. Oversee and perform functional testing for patches, upgrades, and enhancements. Support payroll processing cycles, ensuring accuracy of pay elements, costing, and reports. Drive continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and implementing preventive measures. Provide guidance and mentoring to junior functional consultants and analysts. Maintain system documentation, setups, and configuration logs. Ensure adherence to SOX / audit / compliance standards and internal controls. Participate in release management, regression testing, and environment validation. Required Skills and Qualifications Strong functional expertise in Core HR, Payroll, Self-Service HR (SSHR) Good understanding of HCM data model, business processes, and configuration setups. Proven experience managing incidents and change requests in ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira). Working knowledge of SQL, PLSQL for data validation and analysis. Experience coordinating with Oracle Support and managing system patches and upgrades. Ability to document solutions and communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Oracle HRMS localization Familiarity with OAF personalization, workflow approvals, or integration with HCM Cloud. Oracle HCM certification is a plus. Experience in 24x7 global support environments. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle EBS Human Capital Management (HCM). - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
