<title>About the role</title>

In this role you would be proactively owning the management of AML/CTF compliance in Taiwan, as well as supporting regulatory compliance of Bolt’s payments related activities across the group, operating in 45+ countries globally. 

This is a hands-on role for a knowledgeable legal expert to develop, implement and maintain an effective AML program, own risk assessments, and manage training programs to relevant stakeholders.

<title>Main tasks and responsibilities:</title>

• <point>Develop, implement, and oversee Bolt’s AML program in compliance with local laws and regulations in Taiwan.</point>
• <point>Own AML risk assessment, and development and review of internal control policies, and oversee implementation of the policies.</point>
• <point>Oversee the monitoring of customer transactions and activities for suspicious behavior, ensuring timely identification and reporting of suspicious transactions to the relevant authorities.</point>
• <point>Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely submission of required reports and disclosures.</point>
• <point>Develop and deliver AML training programs to employees, ensuring that all relevant staff are aware of their responsibilities and the importance of compliance.</point>
• <point>Work closely with Bolt’s legal, risk, and compliance teams to ensure a unified approach to managing AML risks and address any AML related issue.</point>

<title>About you:</title>

• <point>You have a Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business, or a related field.</point>
• <point>You have minimum of 5 years of experience in AML compliance, preferably within the third-party payment industry, financial services or fintech industry.</point>
• <point>You have strong knowledge of Taiwan’s AML laws and regulations, as well as international AML standards and best practices.</point>
• <point>You have experience with transaction monitoring systems and tools.</point>
• <point>You are a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or equivalent certificates such as from the Taiwan Academy of Banking and Finance (TABF) is strongly preferred.</point>
• <point>You are proficiency in Mandarin and English.</point>
