Position: Warehousing and Distribution Leader
Location: Cuautitlan Izcalli / San Jeronimo CDMX

Overview: As the Warehousing and Distribution Leader, you will play a critical role in supporting end-to-end logistics, encompassing all aspects of warehouse management, inventory control, transportation, and customer-related operations. Your leadership will ensure compliance with service standards, cost management, quality, sustainability, and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Accountability: Oversee warehouse, transportation, inventory control, and customer delivery experience.
• Strategic Implementation: Drive the execution of the 2025 operations strategy, ensuring adaptability to the evolving customer landscape and maintaining sufficient operational capacity to meet business needs.
• Cost Management: Manage the distribution cost budget, focusing on best-in-class controls and the “Cost to Serve.”
• Continuous Improvement: Initiate and lead programs that enhance service performance, reduce costs, and lower carbon footprint.
• Third-Party Relationships: Cultivate and manage long-term partnerships with third-party logistics providers.
• Compliance Adherence: Ensure compliance with both internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Business Continuity: Develop and implement a robust business continuity plan for logistics operations.
• Best Practices Sharing: Support and promote the sharing and adoption of best practices across the organization.

• Robust negotiation skills, capable of navigating complex discussions with various stakeholders.

Additional Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in logistics and distribution.
• Proven experience negotiating with both in-house operations and 3PL providers.
• Strong financial acumen, with an understanding of cost structures related to both in-house and outsourced operations.
• Experience in team development.
• Background in the development and implementation of large-scale projects, including new distribution centers and CAPEX proposals.
• Familiarity with the implementation of support tools such as ERP and tracking systems.
• Proficiency in advanced English.
