The Role

The Iron Technician II is responsible for assembling and testing a variety of mechanical components, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting senior Iron Technicians during the disassembly and inspection of flow control components

  • Cleaning, stripping, and inspecting all required flow control components to prepare for gauging, ultrasonic, and magnetic article (MPI) inspections

  • Assembling and disassembling flow control products following Stand Operating Procedures (SOP)

  • Identifying and differentiating between SPM and customer-specific products

  • Support Nondestructive Testing (NDT) activities to evaluate the integrity of materials and components

  • Operating and demonstrating proficiency with computer skills for the SPM AMP System

  • Conducting high-pressure hydrostatic testing on flow control products

  • Preforming inventory management and accurately track customer products

  • Inspecting, documenting, and organizing incoming iron inventory

  • Performing all duties of an Iron Technician I and other routine duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 1-3 years of related experience in a warehouse, retail, manufacturing, outside environments, etc. and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude or hands-on approach to troubleshooting and operating machinery, including the ability to identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently

Additional Information:

  • Located onsite in Williston, ND

  • Monday-Friday: 6:00 – 5:00 PM. Overtime as required

Summary Pay Range:

$23.40 - $31.40
