How you’ll make an impact
You will act as a role model to support HSE learning and improving culture. Influence the Operating Unit (OU) employees to ensure the correct thinking and decision making that is required to support the implementation and execution of HSE strategy and related tactics. Drive behavioral change through implementing Hitachi Energy improvement programs and practices locally to ensure an exemplary HSE culture as well as a strong focus on environment throughout the site.
You will drive towards a learning organization by enhancing lessons learned and best practices. Engage ex ternal (Example - customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders) and internal stakeholders to report on, raise awareness and gain commitment on Hitachi Energy’s HSE efforts and performance and obtain objective feedback. Cooperate with other functions, the Global Function and business partners to drive performance.
You will report HSE incidents. Feedback on lessons learned and best practices from own OU and across Hitachi Energy to management and employees. Report on HSE performance and progress on implementation of Hitachi Energy and Grid Integration (GI) HSE objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs), as required. Leverage the Global Function digital tools to deep dive into the site HSE performance and drive improvement programs accordingly.
You will implement Hitachi Energy HSE standards and programs. Support the audits at site according to the Hitachi Energy and GI programs. Assist line managers and supervisors in understanding obligations, liability and how to fulfil their roles, according to local HSE law and Hitachi Energy standards and programs. Facilitate HSE risk assessments by line management involving frontline employees, i.e., those directly concerned by the hazards, and ensure all processes are implemented. Ensure appropriate HSE equipment and tools are available. Drive and ensure adherence to the Hitachi Energy HSE and Sustainability Operating System.
You will identify, plan and initiate upskilling/training needs, for example - for employees, contractors, site managers, and facilitates delivery. Participate in defining the annual budget for HSE at site. Guide, motivate, and develop direct/indirect team members within HR policies.
You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
You hold a bachelor’s degree.
Required with 3 years working in the HSE field (Preferable to work on Sub-station business).
Full time site safety management experience, site work experience in tsmc is a plus.
Required with OHS license above Level B.
Knowledge about workplace risk assessment methodologies and techniques.
Good at local law in occupational safety and health field.
Domestic travel frequently.
Basic level of English for write and reading in work function.
