Project Role Description : Diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. There are five aspects to Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution.

Summary: As a Performance Engineer, you will diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. Your role will involve working on the software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management, and problem detection and resolution. You will contribute to ensuring optimal performance of our systems and applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with the performance testing team to identify and diagnose performance issues. - Analyze system performance data and metrics to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement. - Design and execute performance tests to validate system performance and scalability. - Conduct capacity planning to ensure systems can handle expected workloads. - Implement application performance management tools and processes to monitor and optimize system performance. - Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, working closely with development and operations teams. - Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in performance engineering. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cassandra Database. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Big Data Administration, Python (Programming Language). - Strong understanding of performance engineering principles and methodologies. - Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner. - Knowledge of capacity planning techniques and methodologies. - Familiarity with application performance management tools such as New Relic or Dynatrace. - Experience with troubleshooting performance issues in distributed systems. - Understanding of software development lifecycle and architecture. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Cassandra Database. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
