Northrop Grumman is seeking an early career Systems Engineer (T2). This position will be located at our Space Systems Sector in Rolling Meadows, IL. The qualified candidate will become part of our Eastern Region SEIT engineering organization.
Basic Qualifications:
BS + 2 years of exp; MS + 0 years of exp; with a degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related technical degree.
Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance or pending Final DoD approval at time of application with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access.
Familiarity with the System Engineering V-Model and prior experience executing the systems engineering workflow.
Excellent communication, organization and coordination skills (working with cross-functional teams).
Proficient with MATLAB, C/C++, or similar object-oriented programing languages
Lab integration and test experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of one or more of the following specialty areas related to EOIR/RF systems: sensors/antennas, transmitters/receivers, and optics
Educational background or experience with digital signal processing and algorithm/data analysis
Fundamental understanding of orbital mechanics, pass-planning, Rendezvous and Proximity Operations (RPO) and mission planning
Familiarity with STK and MATLAB-STK integration
Familiarity with NG pro
Active TS/SCI with adjudicated polygraph is preferred
