How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

This is an outside sales position focusing on selling Welding Processes and Welding Applications. You will work closely with an Advanced Fabrication Specialist to learn and implement Airgas’s sales methodologies, including Efficiency Analysis, UHCW, and Engineered Cost Reductions.

• Sell Airgas Welding Processes and Applications.

• Develop in-depth knowledge of Airgas products and services to meet customer needs.

• Work with the Advanced Fabrication Specialist to gain and retain business.

• Travel to customer sites to assess current welding processes and propose solutions.

• Learn and implement sales strategies to increase profitability.

• Provide information on Airgas products and services.

• Learn about automation applications and CNC cutting systems.

• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints.

• Travel overnight 50-60%.

• Use technical expertise to win competitive business.

• Conduct executive presentations to secure sales agreements.

• Strategize with team members to win new business.

• Conduct Welding Efficiency Analysis and provide reports.

• Guide customers through cost-saving projects.

• Identify leads and business growth opportunities.

• Collaborate with the Advanced Manufacturing team.

Are you a MATCH?

• Previous sales experience required, technical sales preferred.

• Minimum 4-5 years in the welding industry.

• AWS Certified Welding Sales Representative (CWSR) or ability to obtain.

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience.

• Strong interest and basic understanding of welding processes.

• Self-motivated and results-oriented.

• Good presentation and communication skills.

• Ability to perform cost analysis.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Valid driver's license.
