Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, utilizing modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions tailored to meet specific business needs. You will engage in coding, testing, and debugging activities while ensuring that the software aligns with the overall architecture and design principles of the organization. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and efficiency of the development process. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expertise in leading and overseeing the development of applications using the Mendix platform. - Lead the Mendix development team, providing technical guidance, coaching, and support. Ensure that the team follows best practices and adheres to project timelines and quality standards. - Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand application requirements, scope, and objectives. Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for the Mendix development team. - Design scalable and maintainable solutions using the Mendix platform, considering application architecture, data modeling, security, and integration points. - Take an active role in developing Mendix applications, both as a hands-on developer and as a mentor to junior team members. Utilize Mendix's low-code capabilities to build and customize business applications. - Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs. - Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. - Strong expertise in Mendix low-code development, including data modeling, microflows, and custom widget development. - Should be minimum Mendix Advance Certified. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Mendix (Platform). - Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies. - Experience with agile development practices and frameworks. - Proficient in coding languages relevant to Mendix and custom software development. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software issues efficiently. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Mendix (Platform). - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
