Wells Fargo is seeking a strategic AI data leader


In this role, you will:

  • Lead enterprise initiatives that enable AI-ready data, ensuring data can be effectively, responsibly, and efficiently leveraged across AI and advanced analytics solutions
  • Drive alignment of data, technology, and AI strategies to accelerate business value realization while maintaining governance, risk, and compliance requirements
  • Establish and manage AI expense reporting, including transparency, consumption monitoring and value measurement
  • Partner with technology, data, risk, and business teams to enable AI SDLC tools into data management product development
  • Develop and deliver executive-level AI portfolio, adoption, value realization, and risk reporting to CDO and senior leadership stakeholders
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to support CDO teams across the AI development lifecycle processes
  • Consult with leaders and team members on the current and future state of AI capabilities, AI readiness, and governance


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience leading or supporting changes in business processes to strategically align with requirements or policies
  • Experience developing executive level reporting and metrics for leadership
  • Knowledge of data management requirements, AI processes, and policy frameworks
  • Experience integrating controls with processes updates
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams and business groups
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts to leadership


Job Expectations:

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule

  • Ability to influence and drive adoption of data management and AI governance processes
  • Ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Periodic presentation of program status, risks, achievements, and value realization metrics to leadership forums
  • Participation in enterprise governance calls, strategy discussions, and AI enablement initiatives
  • Lead AI enablement activities, including training programs, workshops, and learning sessions that increase employee proficiency and responsible adoption of AI capabilities
  • Plan and facilitate AI innovation events, hackathons, and ideation forums that identify new use cases, encourage experimentation, and promote reuse of enterprise AI capabilities and solutions
