Job Description

What is the opportunity?

The incumbent will work within the Corporate Actions Processing team to process, check and release daily payment proceeds from multiple depositories/agents/issuers to eligible clients’ accounts. It requires timely posting, reconciliation, consistency and completeness of payments besides managing the responses to clients’ queries in a timely manner.

What will you do?

  • Balance the entitlement received from multiple depositories/agents/issuers for all internal systems including Trust/Bancs/Milvus.
  • Post entitlements into clients’ accounts on date of receipt or where not possible ensuring strict adherence to protocol.
  • Provide relief for staff on vacation/absences or during high volume by reviewing daily expiring events to ensure all instructions are correctly tendered with depositories/agents and positions are segregated where applicable.
  • Identify, develop and propose improvement to the manager on daily operations.
  • Investigate and reconcile all cash and asset outstanding on a timely manner.
  • Escalate all critical issues identified to the management team to ensure risk containment.
  • Review PPLs and DOPs on a regular basis and update as required.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Knowledge of Corporate Action Principals & Custody Platforms
  • Intermediate MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

Nice-to-have:

  • Back Office experience within financial services industry
  • Intermediate Accounting

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$46,000.00 - $70,000.00
