Summary:
Responsible for directing the daily operations of the Supply Chain Contracting department. Directs all aspects of supply, capital, and service contract administration for the health system. Manages Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) partnership to manage contracts, identify contact opportunities and contract performance.Responsibilities:
Responsible for the vendor credentialing process. Collaborates with Vendor Credentialing team to execute all activities in alignment with expected timelines.Develops, maintains and executes alignment with stakeholders and Strategic Sourcing to ensure there is a transparent format and cadence to keep everyone updated on contract lifecycle and communicated and mitigate any delays.Responsible for creating contract procedures to include process and execution. Develops and implements standards consistent with the administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization. Works in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure needs of the business are being met.Leads the vendor management activities to include business reviews, access, scorecards and contract requirements.Develops a process of systematic review, pro-active calendar and contract updates contained within a centralized system. Develops and maintains contract templates to enable efficient and accurate contract processing.Directs the contracting team to proactively manage contracts, lead policy creation, and mediate issues and barriers. Interacts directly with internal and external stakeholders and oversees the maintenance of contract management including storage, organization and electronic management.Leads sourcing events to include assigned Public RFPs. Leads assigned competitive quote, Request for Information (RFI), Request for Qualifications (RFQ) initiatives. Understands and develops process and procedures related to public RFP, RFQ and RFI.Leads development and maintenance of a centralized Contract Management System. Drives innovation in contract management processes, leveraging technology and automation where possible.Develops, administers and maintains policies and procedures for Contract Management and Strategic Sourcing.Monitors the market and industry trends to be proactive with all current or future contracts.Monitors and evaluates supply chain contract compliance and performance throughout the organization; monitors non-contract spend. Identifies inefficiencies and conflicts, and develops recommendations for process improvement.Responsible for overseeing the entire contract lifecycle. Leads contract preparation, evaluation, communication, implementation, and vendor performance of contracts. Collaborates with legal, procurement, finance, and other relevant departments to finalize agreements.Creates reporting schema on contracting activities and KPIs. Reports progress on a monthly or as requested basis. Maintains reports on cost savings/increases, contract compliance and opportunities. Presents reports to Supply Chain Leadership on a monthly basis.Leads workgroups, creates work plans, deliverables, savings estimates and desired outcomes for initiatives with targeted due dates. Participates in strategic planning within Supply Chain to target future cost savings, standardization and contract optimization.Oversees the administration of all supply, services, and equipment contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions as well as regulatory requirements. Maintains all local and GPO contracts related to the purchase of supplies, services and equipment within a centralized system.Performs other duties as assigned.Competencies:
