The Role:

Trepp is a leading provider of innovative data and analytics solutions for CRE, CMBS, CLO, and Lending markets. We are seeking a curious, detail-oriented Product Analyst to support our Lending product team. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with data, enjoys digging into the "why" behind user behavior, and is eager to build a foundation in product management within a fast-moving, data-rich industry. This individual will work closely with product managers, engineers, and client-facing teams to help translate data and client feedback into product decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Data Analysis: Analyze usage patterns, client behavior, and performance metrics for our Lending products to surface trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Requirements Support: Help product managers document clear requirements and user stories, and work with engineering to clarify details during execution.
  • Market Research: Support market and competitive research on lending, CRE, and fintech trends to help inform product decisions.
  • Dashboards & Reporting: Build and maintain dashboards and reports that track key product metrics such as adoption, retention, and engagement.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Work with product, engineering, and client success teams to collect feedback, log feature requests, and track progress on the roadmap.
  • Data Quality: Assist with data validation and quality checks to help ensure the accuracy of the datasets underlying our lending products.
  • Documentation: Maintain product documentation, release notes, and internal resources to support the wider team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a product, business, or data analyst role (SaaS, fintech, or financial data products a plus, not required).
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data sets to draw out clear insights.
  • Proficiency in Excel; working knowledge of SQL, or willingness to build that skill quickly.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, able to work with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to commercial lending, CRE, CMBS, or CLO markets.
  • Experience with BI/visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and tools like Jira or Confluence.
  • Interest in how AI and automation can be applied to data analysis or fintech workflows.

 

Salary

  • Base salary starting from $75k plus bonus eligible

Workplace Policy

NYC, Dallas, and London office-based positions: Trepp’s offices follow a 3–2 hybrid-working policy with the expectation of in-office work on Tuesday–Thursday and the option to work from home on Monday and Friday.  Trepp maintains a drug-free workplace.
