OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for maintaining, implementing and upgrading our physical computer and network infrastructure in new and existing stores. Provide guidance on installation, configuration, and upgrades of computers and network hardware including the most complex configurations. Provide second level support for team members and assist team members in the resolution of incidents. Serve as Store Projects representative on projects related to infrastructure or hardware in the stores. Work with staging and installation vendors on process documentation, hardware builds and testing, and installation reviews. Oversee hardware and infrastructure moves, adds, and changes in the stores. Work independently while delivering high-quality work. Manage smaller scale projects.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide second level technical support during the project phase of new store openings and equipment deployment projects.

  • Assist in coordinating efforts with the Sr. Project Manager or Project Managers on all relevant technical deliverables for projects.

  • Serve as Store Projects representative on projects related to infrastructure or hardware in the stores.

  • Coordinate the work of vendors or internal associates on technical tasks for new store construction or new technology deployments to existing stores.

  • Troubleshoot equipment related problems, analyze potential solutions, and coordinate resolution with the appropriate IT groups or vendors.

  • Provide guidance to junior members for new stores and other technology projects.

  • Make process enhancements where applicable.

  • Work collectively with other members on the team, which includes knowledge transfer and assistance with complex issues.

  • Perform other duties as required.

  • BladeLogic\BCAC Networking principles and concepts

  • Telephone and mobile phone support

  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN network management principles

  • IT Processes & Procedures including ITIL 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience (5+ years in an IT support role)

  • 5-7 years of experience

  • Microsoft Windows

  • BCAC Admin or other remote deployment tools
