About the team

As a Talent Brand Designer, you will help launch and strengthen the Zillow talent brand in Mexico by designing the look and feel of our visual story so that we attract and retain top-performing talent. You’ll be part of a team dedicated to helping Zillow’s purpose and brand shine through our talent attraction, marketing, and communications efforts. This ensures we can bring engineering talent to Zillow Mexico, who’s excited and passionate about making home a reality for more and more people.

About the role

In this role, you’ll have specific ownership and responsibility for creating and producing dynamic creative deliverables in various formats to communicate the culture and work-life at Zillow, Mexico across numerous candidate journey touchpoints. Specific responsibilities include developing a full spectrum of creative assets (campaigns, digital and print collateral), bringing authenticity to our creative story by accurately capturing life at Zillow in photos and videos to be used across our marketing ecosystem and building a suite of marketing and social media templates that equip our talent teams to be active participants in building our brand and reputation with candidates. This is a fast-paced, high-volume role with expectations to manage the entire content creation process from beginning to end.

This role has been categorized as a teleworker position. Teleworkers do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any part of Mexico, but preferably in Mexico City, as we would encourage attendance for occasional in-office events.

In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • Have experience working as a designer to articulate brand story and identity across a broad range of deliverables

  • Intermediate or Mid-level proficiency in the use of Adobe suite software, especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder

  • Have robust experience in both creating and following brand guidelines

  • Have been on the ground as a photographer and videographer and have first-hand experience in both pre-shoot planning and post-production editing to put those assets into a design system

  • Know the ins and outs of being part of a small team and the agility needed to balance a wide range of responsibilities daily

  • Solutions-oriented, highly driven, proactive, and takes initiative

  • Full understanding of digital platforms to ensure all electronic files are created responsibly in respect to proper naming conventions, sizing for various digital platforms)

  • Strong conceptual ability understanding the importance of typography, layout, color theory, and color strategy

  • Sophisticated eye for cropping/selecting photography and video assets for various projects

  • Confident in presenting and pitching creative concepts and ideas to senior leaders and internal/external partners.
