About the Role:

The Online and 3rd Party Sales & Performance Specialist will sit within the Acquisition Trading Team in Virgin Media. You will be responsible for delivering the Online Sales Numbers for Cable, Sim & Device. You will work closely with the Online Digital Team and the Acquisition Marketing Team to understand plans and how these will impact or drive sales to your channel. You will work closely with 3rd parties to drive acquisition growth.  

Specific Duties & Tasks:  

  • Deliver KPI’s in accordance with Virgin’s brand values in line with broader sales & retention team objectives 

  • Contribute to achieving & exceeding sales targets for the Virgin Media Ireland Online channel & Affiliate Partners, across Cable, TV & Mobile.  

  • Ownership of funnel & basket performance metrics, working with the Online team to improve and enhance conversion  

  • Reviewing funnel performance with Online Teams daily/weekly 

  • Manage and provide thought and operational leadership on 3rd Party vendors like salecycle & Switcher/Bonkers initiatives  

  • Work within framework of the business to help deliver the strategic initiatives to improve customer experience and sales volumes performance metrics (3rd Parties, Webchat, Qualtrics, Salecycle, CDH & NPS)  

  • Working cross functionally with Online >M teams to support product portfolio delivery.   

  • Frequent (weekly/monthly) reporting of sales volumes, channel performance & other key metrics, providing insight into the overall online channel    

  • Provide insights to help drive the online conversion targets on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis for Cable, TV & Mobile  

  • Ownership of online tactical promotional roadmap for Online & Affiliates Partners   

  • Ownership of the online OPEX budget & Management of operational duties & Associated admin  

  • Contribute towards sales trading initiatives & roadmap planning 

  • Help to drive the sales channel mix 

  • Online sales volume & conversion for cable, Mobile & Device & Basket performance  

  • NPS & CSAT scores for Online  

  • Sales trading targets 

Skills & Expertise:

  • Experience with online sales environment, with partnership management & growth mindset 

  • Expert knowledge of Excel and equivalent programmes 

  • Analysis and forecasting- use analytical skills, trends data forecast and deliver growth in the online channel  

  • Communication – Ensure all the sales performance is communicated, with an improvement action plan, in the correct manner to weekly trading  

  • Collaboration - with internal teams to identify drivers and impacts to demand to the website that might impact sales volumes  

  • Ensure the customer is at the heart of all the changes we make
