RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting directly to the Director of Design Engineering, High Performance Power, this proven leader with the ability to engage and motivate engineering talent, define and set deliverables, plan resources, improve the design process and efficiency while driving results, should have proven results in the following areas:

  • Proven track record in managing Power, Analog and mixed signal IC design teams and developments using top down design flows and methodologies

  • Driving good design practices and discipline in product development

  • Proactive, collaborative, resourceful and creative approach to innovation, technical development and consensus facilitation to influence optimal project results

  • Experience with design of switching regulator circuits intended for the Automotive environment; high efficiency, high power density, Bipolar, CMOS, DMOS, Mixed Signal content

  • Solid understanding of EMI mitigation design techniques, power supply application and digital design flows and verification

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results on-time while managing resources across multiple global locations

  • Proven track record of driving successful projects from concept to production

  • Manage University relationships and drive recruitment, mentor and develop talent

  • Occasional International & Domestic travel may be required

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • BSEE, MSEE (preferred) with 8+ years of experience in analog/mixed signal IC design

  • Solid understanding of Analog IC Design

  • Prior management experience with internal and external teams on a global scale, preferred

  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas and concepts

  • Strong management skills and ability to interact with individuals at all levels in the organization
