Responsibilities:

  • Performs the General Accounting, Reporting & Controlling process in close collaboration with the local entity.
  • Executes sub-ledgers (closing) activities in the areas of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, etc.
  • Executes and supports the monthly closing process.
  • Supports business review of P&L and BS in strong collaboration with local entity, performs reclassifications/ adjustments based on request/ need.
  • Prepares and performs standard journal entries in the ERP system.
  • Performs standard Accounting and Controlling analysis, as well as Reporting in close collaboration with the local entity.
  • Resolves open issues with the local entity.
  • Responsible to document all corresponding Internal Controls and follow all Compliance rules as per Internal Controls Matrix and CPP/ LPP.
  • Supports  local team in internal and external financial audits.
  • Acts as back-up for colleagues who are on leave, as per the internal regulations.
  • Provides support to other colleagues and team members, when they require help to fulfill their daily activities.
  • Provides support to the extended team, as and when it is the case.
  • Assure ad hoc support for projects, initiatives.
  • Shows ability to manage own time schedule in order to meet the established deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • University graduate in Economics/Accounting;
  • Previous experience in Finance & Accounting;
  • Experience in the General Accounting, Reporting & Controlling area is a plus;
  • Experience in IFRS and the local GAAP is a plus;
  • English for business use is mandatory (German language is an advantage);
  • Good computer skills related to Microsoft Office; mid level Excel knowledge is mandatory;
  • SAP Knowledge or different ERP experience is mandatory;
  • Fact-driven and strong analytical skills, detailed oriented attitude to identify accuracy
  • Open to process improvements and team-player.
