Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software development, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position demands active involvement in setting development benchmarks and ensuring that the solutions produced meet the required standards for scalability, performance, and alignment with organizational goals. Collaboration with various stakeholders to maintain a cohesive and efficient development process is a key aspect of daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development best practices and coding standards.
- Mentor team members to foster professional growth and enhance technical capabilities.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software components.

Professional & Technical Skills:
5+ years of experience:
- Deep expertise in frontend and backend development using React, Node.js, or Java
- Strong experience in REST API design, microservices architecture, and system integration (e.g. Spring 5-6, Java 8-17+)
- Skilled in performance optimization, application scalability and secure design.
- Strong understanding of UI architecture and application design principles
- Experience with Azure cloud-native applications and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, AKS)
- Experience in writing and maintaining unit/integration test.
- Proficient in CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins)
- Agile Methodology
- Technical leadership and mentoring nice-to-have

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Java Full Stack Development.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
