- Documentation: Maintain clear, factual records of investigations, including rationale for closure or escalation.

- Red Flag Investigation: Raise inquiries and investigate suspicious activities, presenting findings for team discussion and escalation as needed.

- Policy & Market Awareness: Stay current on firm policies, regulatory requirements, and market developments affecting trading and communication behaviors.

- Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in India, the United States, and globally to achieve surveillance program objectives, share insights, and contribute to a positive, productive work environment.

- Continuous Improvement: Seek opportunities to enhance surveillance processes, recommend automation, adopt advanced analytics, and provide feedback on system enhancements.

- Flexibility & Adaptability: Adjust to shifting priorities and urgent investigations as business needs evolve.

- Risk Excellence & Ethics: Demonstrate a strong ethical base in all activities, consistently applying State Street’s Standard of Conduct and Risk Excellence principles to ensure the highest standards of integrity and accountability.

- Technology Enablement: Utilize Copilot AI for approved business use and other approved surveillance technologies to enhance detection, analysis, and reporting

- Agility & Multitasking: Ability to think on your feet and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.

- Communication: Clear, concise writing and executive-ready storytelling; ability to influence across global, cross-functional stakeholders.

- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to reviews and documentation.

- Regulatory Judgment: Strong capability to interpret communications and trades in connection with regulatory requirements and firm policies.

- Growth Mindset: Eagerness to learn, innovate, and grow within the team.

- Risk Excellence: Commitment to risk management, ethical conduct, and continuous improvement in all aspects of surveillance.

- Global Perspective: Ability to work effectively with teams and management in India and the United States, maintaining a global surveillance mindset.
