Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking candidates with outstanding leadership skills for Configuration Data Management Lead reporting to Configuration Management Section Manager. Position may be located in Palmdale, CA or San Diego CA.
In this role, you will focus heavily on document creation, control and management. You will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining the processes for engineering documents going through the Document Control and Release process.
Essential Functions:
· Tracking System Configuration
· Supporting Enterprise Configuration Control Lead
· Facilitating Configuration Control Board meetings
· Audit Lead for the System configuration(s)
· Analyzing proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system
· Adjudicating configuration squawks, presents proposed solutions to leadership, and drives proposed solution to closure
· Facilitating and leading multi-organization system configuration meetings to understand problems and suggest solutions

Basic Qualifications:
- For Principal Configuration Analyst Consideration: Must have a Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience.
- For Sr Principal Configuration Analyst Consideration: Must have a Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance for consideration
- Ability to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance
- Must have ability to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
- Familiarity and or experience with MIL-HDBK-61A
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree
- Final Top Secret Clearance
- Experience developing, evaluating or auditing plans, processes and procedures
- Experience with Teamcenter
Salary Range: $88,799.00 - $133,100.00Salary Range 2: $109,900.00 - $164,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
