Description of assignment

Within Site Management we install our Baggage Handling Systems globally. Installation needs to be done safely, on time, correctly, according to process and we need to deliver the agreed documentation/deliverables. What are the bottlenecks on site and how can we make this visual?

For this DUO assignment I have two business cases:

Case 1

Investigate what bottlenecks occur during the installation with the current tooling, within our installation processes and how this affects our data. What is needed to improve and correct, so we can visualize these bottlenecks.

Case 2

What data do we want to see in order to have a good visualization of what is happening on site. What data do we already have and use, compared to what can we make visual in PowerBI Dashboards. How can we, as management, monitor our projects better?

Department description

I would like both interns to work in Veghel and I want them to divide the cases, workload and final assignment. In the end I also want a running dashboard where both cases come together, which we can use to monitor our projects better and act on flaws in the processes.

The interns will be working close together with Site Managers and Supervisors, as with other internal departments and IT.

Tasks/responsibilities

• In-depth investigation in the installation process and deliverables
• Recommendation on tools we use and data that can be used.
• Investigation in dashboarding, making project performance visual.

 Your profile

• At least one intern strong PowerBI skills
• Strong in communication and influencing skills
• Data driven and process-minded
• Hands-on. We always have reasons why something is not working, however I want results in the end; A functioning dashboard
• Strong collaboration skills between interns for both cases.
• *Mandatory enrolment to a Dutch Education System & resident of The Netherlands
