Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 740 W. Peachtree St NW, Atlanta, GA 30308.

This role requires associates to be in-office 3-4 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

The Engineer Lead is responsible for full delivery of end to end system development and maintenance on medium Enterprise wide technology platforms.

How You Will Make an Impact: 

  • Design, develop and deploy end-to-end AI Solutions for critical provider applications, such as provider contracts and provider networks by leveraging GenAI, LLMs, LangChain, Prompt Engineering, Numpy and Pandas.
  • Maintains active relationships with customers to determine business requirements.
  • Leads requirements gathering meetings and reviews designs with the business.
  • Leverage comprehensive healthcare domain expertise to implement innovative solutions that enhance patient care, provider outreach and streamline operational efficiency.
  • Leads efforts with Web and marketing team to increase the presence of web products.
  • May implement improvements in stability, performance, and scalability across major business critical systems.
  • Design and implement comprehensive data quality standards and metrics for provider records, establishing rigorous protocols that ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness, while actively monitoring and continuously improving data management practices to support organizational goals and regulatory compliance.
  • May implement process to reduce barriers and roadblocks in projects, services, and processes in order to operate more efficiently.
  • Owns the change request process and coordinates with other teams as necessary.
  • Develops and owns list of final enhancements.
  • Automate healthcare fraud detection and provide effective root cause analysis for provider data discrepancy using AI Methodologies and Fine-tuning AI Models.
  • Develops and defines application scope and objectives and supervises the preparation of technical and/or functional specifications from with programs will be written.
  • Performs technical design reviews and code reviews.
  • Ensures unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed and system is implemented according to plan.
  • Responsible for delivery of application technology solutions and data information planning effort.
  • Coordinates and manages on-call support and owns the system monitoring process.
  • Owns the technical development environment and works on the Enterprise team.
  • Leads multiple or large projects and facilitates large group JAD sessions for requirements, modeling in several disciplines.
  • Leads vendor evaluation and analysis.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related.
  • Seven (7) years of engineering or related experience.

Experience Requirements:

  • Seven (7) years of engineering or related experience must include: Multi-platform, multi-dimensional experience.
  • SQL and databases - Snowflake, MySQL, NoSQL, and Oracle;
  • Programming languages - Python, PySpark, R, Shell Scripting, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript;
  • Cloud technologies - AWS EMR, S3, Lambda, EKS, or Step Function;
  • Data modeling and architecture;
  • Experience independently leading the teams and responsible for end-to-end delivery of the projects;
  • Healthcare domain expertise in provider data, provider contracts/networks;
  • Creating custom dashboards and alerts for real-time monitoring of provider data quality and anomalies.
