How You’ll Make an Impact

• Design and develop 1PH and 3PH pad-mounted distribution transformers using 2D and 3D CAD tools.

• Create and modify drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to meet customer and manufacturing requirements.

• Participate in design and customer specification reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Support cross-functional teams with timely mechanical engineering expertise.

• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.

• Collaborate with vendors on part development and qualification.

• Prepare technical documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

• Consult with other engineering teams to ensure optimal design integration

• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical design.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Creo, or similar 3D modeling software.

• Familiarity with industrial and engineering standards.

• Experience designing custom mechanical products.

• Knowledge of IEEE and CSA standards is a plus.
