Join the EAME Distribution Team as a Marketing Sales and Operations Representative, where you will play a critical role in shaping marketing and sales strategies, systems, and processes for our dealers distribution in Southern Africa. Leveraging your field experience and expertise in process improvement methodologies, you will elevate dealer marketing and sales capabilities, enhancing the overall customer experience.

As a key liaison between dealers, customers, and Caterpillar stakeholders, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and addressing marketing and sales distribution challenges, with a focus on strategic solutions. Role Definition
Advising and executing on marketing and sales initiatives and Caterpillar dealer/customer-related strategies, systems, and processes through close collaboration with Caterpillar and dealer teams.  
 

Responsibilities

  • Answering inquiries and resolving problems regarding business plan execution, operational improvement and achievement of targets.

  • Advising on existing and potential customer experience issues and improvement measures.

  • Lead with dealers initiatives to improve marketing and sales capabilities, supporting the overall business development process.

  • Govern dealer execution of the programs that increase sales and improve customer experience.

Qualifications / Experience: Proven leadership experience (8 - 10 years minimum) in stakeholder management – influencing, negotiating, advising, and accelerating project execution and governance. Leading with critical and strategic thinking on sales and service growth that impact overall business performance. The ability to work independently mentoring and developing dealer capabilities for services and sales growth.

Value Selling: Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs

Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Value Selling: Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.
