Head of ProductWe are seeking a passionate and experienced Product Management Leader to join the Bullish Product Management team.
As Director, Product Management for Post-trade & Exchange Data, you will lead the strategy, development, and execution of a robust post-trade platform, supporting the needs of institutional clients, prime brokerages, and financial derivatives markets. This role will involve deep engagement with clearing and settlement processes, trade reconciliation, and reporting for financial derivatives, including futures, options, and other products.
The role requires an understanding of the complex post-trade data requirements for derivatives trading, including margin calculations, collateral management, and regulatory reporting. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of post-trade workflows while enhancing the data infrastructure needed to meet the high standards of institutional clients and prime services. Your expertise will drive the evolution of our trading platform, ensuring excellence in innovation, user experience, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:
Post-trade Product Strategy & Management for Prime Services and Financial Derivatives
Post-trade Workflows: Lead the development of post-trade workflows specifically designed to handle financial derivatives, including futures, options, and swaps. Ensure seamless integration of margining, clearing, settlement, and lifecycle management of derivatives
Operational Efficiency: Collaborate with internal teams to streamline post-trade operations for spot & derivatives markets, focusing on reconciliation, clearing, and settlement processes that cater to the high-volume demands of institutional clients
Prime Services Support: Develop and optimize post-trade solutions tailored for prime services, including margin trading, securities lending, collateral management, and custody. Ensure these solutions address the needs of derivatives traders, prime brokers, and institutional clients
Exchange Data Products & Financial Derivatives Data Requirements
Data Services for Trading: Build and manage data services tailored to the needs of traders and prime brokers. Ensure real-time availability of key data points such as trade lifecycle events, collateral movements, margin adjustments, and position management
Post-trade Data: Oversee the management of post-trade data, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across lifecycle events, from trade execution through to final settlement. This includes tracking contract specifications, settlement prices, and margin call data
Compliance & Regulatory Reporting for Derivatives: Ensure that post-trade data services meet the rigorous reporting requirements for derivatives trading, including CFTC, MiFID II, and EMIR regulations. Oversee the generation and management of audit trails, trade reporting, and reconciliation data
Cross-functional Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration
Prime Brokerage & Derivatives Partnerships: Build strong relationships with prime brokerage clients and institutional traders, understanding their unique post-trade and data requirements
Risk & Margin Data Management: Work with internal Product Management, Risk and Data teams to support systems that manage the risk profiles of derivatives portfolios, monitor and report on margin requirements, collateral utilization, and counterparty risk
Integration with Custodians & Clearinghouses: Collaborate with clearinghouses, custodians, and liquidity providers to ensure seamless post-trade processing, with a focus on timely clearing, margin management, and settlement
Financial Derivatives Knowledge & Innovation
Derivatives Expertise: Lead the development of post-trade workflows and data products that cater specifically to derivatives markets, including detailed support for margin calculations, position reporting, risk management, and performance analysis
Client Engagement: Engage with key institutional clients, prime brokers, and institutional traders to gather feedback and tailor post-trade services and data solutions to meet their evolving needs
Perform in-depth market analysis to identify emerging trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes that impact the crypto trading landscape, leveraging insights to maintain competitive advantage
Collaborate with Engineering, Quant, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Security and other teams to ensure the technical reliability, scalability, regulatory alignment and security of our platform
Maintain a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape affecting digital asset trading, ensuring that all products comply with global financial regulations and industry standards
Create, support and monitor Product Management best practices alongside other leaders
Provide mentorship for other Product Management team members
Some domestic & international travel is required

Qualifications:
Bachelors or preferably an advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
10+ years in product management with a strong technical background, including extensive experience with trading platforms, data platforms and associated integrations
Expert knowledge of derivatives markets and products
Demonstrated ability to innovate and deliver advanced trading data solutions within the digital asset or traditional financial markets
Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams in a fast-paced environment
Advanced analytical abilities with a data-driven approach to product strategy and decision-making
Outstanding communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders
Comfortable being the “face of a product”
Comfortable working in a dynamic organization where priorities can change frequently
Experience working in a distributed organization
