About the Role
The Bose Enterprise Technology Services Agile Program Manager role is a leadership position responsible to be the train lead for an agile organization with cross functional Agile teams, being responsible for a large program or group of interdependent programs that range from medium to high complexity. The PM focuses on leading program planning efforts and manages the integration implementation, reporting, and performance of the overall program or group of programs to ensure the successful delivery of defined value and outcomes. The role leads the coordination and management activities with business partners, and acts as a mentor and coach to product owners. This role is also responsible for driving alignment and managing dependencies across programs, projects, and product / technology teams.

The Program Manager will also help to manage project efforts and team level scrum activities ensuring consistency in execution and deliverables, while delivering value for ETS customers. The program manager may drive or support change management and process improvement efforts, as well as help to manage vendors and third parties. The Sr Program Manager must exhibit the ability to lead managers and their teams and drive collaboration and alignment.

Specific Responsibilities:
This position requires proven experience in program management. Ideal candidates must be highly proactive, detail-oriented, possess the ability to work through unknowns, identify paths to success to ensure delivery, and able to autonomously work on multiple assignments that span the ETS organization. They must be capable of digging into technical details and clearly communicating schedules, risks, status, and processes to a variety of business and technical audiences. They must be able to partner with closely with project managers and technical leads to coordinate schedules and deliverables.

Required Competencies:
• Ability to scope, plan and execute programs and deliver key outcomes with minimal outside assistance that span across Technology teams, stakeholder groups and third parties.
• Manages Issues and Risks across program helping to remove barriers.
• Provides ongoing Governance (reporting, monitoring, escalation, controls)
• Work with appropriate stakeholders, including outside parties, to undertake analysis and define options and recommendations, and ultimately deliver value.
• Drive alignment across stakeholder groups to enable delivery success to ensure alignment for the organization and key stakeholders with product portfolio direction.
• Supports the Portfolio management and prioritization process to achieve alignment between technology and business teams.
• Drive improvement in methodologies and deliverables, as well as collaboration practices and ways of working.
• Supports portfolio level reporting practices and alignment between financial tracking and value delivery.
• Deep understanding of the IT and application landscape, including interdependencies with business processes.
• Change agent who excels at change management, is organized, detailed, and able to grasp and apply new concepts quickly and relay/implement within the team.
• Defines and Maintains ongoing Governance (reporting, monitoring, escalation, controls)

About You
Experience Requirements:
• 7+ years of relevant work experience, with 2-3 years’ experience in a technology environment.
• Experience translating ideas, approaches, and dependencies between technical and functional team members.
• 5+ years of highly effective agile management experience leading product and technology teams, as well as experience with agile-based tools.
• Experience communicating program status, risks, issues, and needs to senior leaders, and managing up.
• Experience managing alignment across programs, projects or product teams in an enterprise environment.
• Experience managing strategic relationships or acting as the primary point of contact for strategic partnerships.
• Proficient in effective troubleshooting and issue resolution techniques.
• Proficient in the planning and execution of programs and projects and risk mitigation strategies
• Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
• Proficient in project management execution in a modern software environment via multiple methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc).

Education/Certification Requirements:
• Requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Agile / Scrum certification (preferred)
• OCM or CCMP Certification or knowledge (preferred, not required)
• PMP certification or knowledge (preferred, not required)
• Continuous Learning: Demonstrated commitment to staying updated on emerging trends and technologies in vendor management.
